007 USB Flash Drive: Combination Of Digital Security With Mechanical Security

It is a great design and a good example of how to combine digital security with mechanical security to protect your data in a USB flash drive.

First, this 007 USB Flash Drive is physically secured with an analogue security of a bike lock. Not only that this lock covers the USB port, but also ties the lock to an object (like a desk) via a steel cable.

Now if someone managed to guess the three digits combination of the security lock, then he has next to break through the second level of secirity which is the software password to access the data.

Don't start looking to purchase the 007 USB Flash Drive online. This USB Flash Drive is just a design concept and it's not a reality yet ... so you will not find this anywhere in any store. Maybe one day this design will be adobted and converted into a reality.

Sony GPS-CS1: Tags Photos With Location

Sony Electronics announced Tuesday August 1st a GPS device that puts your pictures on the map. Using time and location recordings from Sony’s GPS-CS1 GPS device and the time stamp from a Sony digital still camera or camcorder, photo buffs can plot their digital images to a map and pinpoint exactly where they’ve been.

The 12-channel GPS unit is 3-½ inches long, weighs two ounces, and is sold with a carabineer to easily attach to a backpack or a belt loop.“Whether you’re traveling to the Seven Wonders of the World, or just wondering where to buy your next house, our new GPS device can track your journey,” said David Johns, product manager for digital camera accessories at Sony Electronics. “

Adding a geographic context to your digital images helps organize and make use of your photos in entirely new ways.”To arrange your pictures geographically, import the logged data from the GPS device, using the supplied USB cable, and then download the digital images to a computer. The supplied GPS Image Tracker software synchronizes the images on your digital camera with the latitude, longitude and time readings from the GPS-CS1 device.

Once synchronized, your photos can become virtual push pins on an online map by activating the Picture Motion Browser software bundled with the latest Sony cameras and camcorders released after July. You can easily add new photos and coordinates to the mapping web site, courtesy of Google Maps, and showcase years of globe-trotting.The GPS-CS1 GPS device will be available next month for about $150 at sonystyle.com, at Sony Style retail stores.

Microsoft Windows Vista Soft Drink

Windows Vista won't be released until earlier next year at the best, but at least Windows Vista soft drink is currently in Microsoft campus' refrigerators.

Special-edition cans of Talking Rain Lemon-Lime sparkling water, sporting the logo for the upcoming operating system, have been stocked among the other free sodas available to the company's employees.

It's a promotion for the preliminary version of the program, pointing employees to an internal Windows Vista site.So now at least we know that Microsoft is serious about the release of Windows Vista.

Delux iShow DLA-688 for squint-inducing videos

China's Delux isn't really breaking any new ground here, but their iShow DLA-688 stores the tunes, plays the vids, and does it all for 50 bucks. Sadly, the screen is a mere 1.8-inch LCD, and the video playback is that annoying MTV format which we see from time to time in budget players. Luckily, the 1GB of memory, FM radio, eBook reading, games and voice recording are a little more interesting, as is the USB 2.0 port. No word on availability.

Self Stirring Mug: No Spoon Required

Self Stirring MugThis is a very cool mug to have if you are so busy to waste few valuable seconds stirring your coffee with a spoon!

this mug has a miniature battery-operated propeller at the bottom of the well that spins at 3,000 rpms at the touch of a button on the handle, automatically stirring your beverage and eliminating the need to dispose of stirrers or find a place to leave coffee-dampened spoons. At your command the propeller re-stirs mugs of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea, preventing chocolate or sugar from settling out of solution, and overcoming the traditional challenge of adequately mixing honey in a hot drink.

The mug includes a lid to keep contents from spilling and to retain heat, and the lid can be placed underneath the mugs base as an impromptu coaster. The mug is lightweight injection-molded plastic sheathed in a stainless steel exterior. Requires two AA batteries.

This mug is available at $30 for two mugs at Hammacher Schlemmer. The mug also requires 2 x AA batteries.

I also found another similar mug from Initial Ideas that is sold for $23 are requires 2 x AAA batteries.

U might need really big balls if you drive a huge truck

If you've got a really big truck, you might need
really big balls.

That's behind a growing fad hitting Edmonton streets.
Made from hard plastic, the big, dangling testicles are being found tied beneath the rear bumpers of local trucks - by picture-hanging wire, zip ties and shoelaces.

"Putting male genitalia on your truck ... makes it a man truck, instead of any old truck," said Amy Kaler, an associate professor of sociology at the University of Alberta.

"I don't think it's rocket science. People take their genitals as kind of being the core of sexual identity.

Most Unusual Funny Buildings On Earth

Very Funny and Entertaining photos from very unusual buildings on the earth

Fuji Sankei Building in Tokyo

"Dancing House"
Here's a building that
should really get your attention when walking pass it. The Dancing
House
is considered as one of the more real controversial buildings
in Prague. The DH was actually designed by a great architect from
California, which only proves that he had done some type of hallucinogen
while designing it.

"Robot Building"
The Bank of Asia is
a very famous building in Bangkok. It was made way back in 1985, and
it's robotic appearance is just a symbol of the modernization of
banking. It also has the ability to transform into a mega-robot. So, if
Godzilla ever decided to show his green face in the land of Bangkok,
they would have to fight!

"Ripley's Building"
If you saw this picture
for the first time, you'd probably thought that it was hit by a massive
earthquake. But it wasn't. In true fashion of the Ripley Legacy, it was
built to reflect the odd 1812 earthquake that measured 8.0 on the rick.
The building has now become one of the most photographed in the world
because of it.

"The Wilson Hall"
This somewhat modernize
building was actually built between 1971 and 1974. It's unique design
gives the Wilson Hall a great sense of structure, and a prominent
landmark for the skyline. The building provides big laboratories,
offices, and supports space for over 1500 scientists. And it houses all
kinds of strange experiments.

"135 Degree Angle"
This bizarre house really
doesn't have an official name, but it does have a 135 degree angle. So
that's what we're going to call it. Unfortunately, the only info we have
about this house is that it was built in China or Japan. And that it has
a silly pink roof. And if you look real close, you'll notice that it's
on a 135 degree damn angle.

"Hotel Sofitel"
This hotel's unique design
was directly inspired by the traditional temples in Japan. The Tokyo
Sofitel
has over 72 rooms, and 11 suites with 3 non-smoking floors.
And 5 meeting rooms that includes high-tech boardrooms. Please realize
that you have to sell your soul in order to step foot inside this
amazing hotel.

"Triangle Building"
We wonder what type of
work goes on inside this kind of a building. The unofficial Triangle
Building
is just a wonder to look at and to ponder over. But, can
this be one of the evil headquarters for Scientology or Starbucks? Does
this building have triangle bathrooms? There's so many damn questions!

"The Astra Haus"
The strange building is
actually a brewery in Hamburg, Germany. The floors can move up or down
on it's skinny column core. As of now, the unique building has been
destroyed. One of it's more famous beer brands was recently bought by a
big refreshment corporation. And that beer brand was called Astra.

"Upside Downer"
Take a journey into the
unknown with a building called Wonder Works. It's central
Florida’s only upside down attraction. And an amusement park for your
mind, and your stoner friends. This odd building has over 100 wacky
interactive exhibits for your entire family to experience. But make sure
you free your weed before coming.

"Crooked House"
You know that your looking
at a real building right? The Crooked House was built in 2004 as
an addition at a popular shopping center, and is a major tourist
attraction in Sopot, Poland. We just wonder what happens when someone
who's under a controlled substance sees this building for the first time
in their life.
