Delux iShow DLA-688 for squint-inducing videos

China's Delux isn't really breaking any new ground here, but their iShow DLA-688 stores the tunes, plays the vids, and does it all for 50 bucks. Sadly, the screen is a mere 1.8-inch LCD, and the video playback is that annoying MTV format which we see from time to time in budget players. Luckily, the 1GB of memory, FM radio, eBook reading, games and voice recording are a little more interesting, as is the USB 2.0 port. No word on availability.

Self Stirring Mug: No Spoon Required

This is a very cool mug to have if you are so busy to waste few valuable seconds stirring your coffee with a spoon!

this mug has a miniature battery-operated propeller at the bottom of the well that spins at 3,000 rpms at the touch of a button on the handle, automatically stirring your beverage and eliminating the need to dispose of stirrers or find a place to leave coffee-dampened spoons. At your command the propeller re-stirs mugs of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea, preventing chocolate or sugar from settling out of solution, and overcoming the traditional challenge of adequately mixing honey in a hot drink.

The mug includes a lid to keep contents from spilling and to retain heat, and the lid can be placed underneath the mugs base as an impromptu coaster. The mug is lightweight injection-molded plastic sheathed in a stainless steel exterior. Requires two AA batteries.

This mug is available at $30 for two mugs at Hammacher Schlemmer. The mug also requires 2 x AA batteries.

I also found another similar mug from Initial Ideas that is sold for $23 are requires 2 x AAA batteries.
